- The program aims to provide competences to learners that would ultimately be used to empower people to help themselves rather than making them passive receivers of services. The program will also empower graduates with competencies, which will be used to assist individuals, groups and communities build self – esteem and self -confidence to lead a life of self-respect.
In Competence-based Education and Training (CBET), assessment is an integral part of the learning process, and must support and complete the learning strategies in order to achieve the required outcomes. In particular, assessment must reflect the required progression and be relevant to the range of outcomes indicated in the curriculum. This is achieved through using integrated methods of assessment of which this curriculum indicates.
